New Smyrna Beach is a beautiful Central Florida beach destination offering excellent backwater and offshore fishing, year-round golf, surfing, and other water activities, historical sites, cultural events, and eclectic shopping and dining experiences.

What makes our destination so special is the small-town charm and LOCATION. Our location is key. New Smyrna Beach is only 1 hour east of Orlando and the Orlando attractions, 20 minutes south of Daytona Beach, 1 hour south of St. Augustine, and 45 minutes north of the Kennedy Space Center. It’s an ideal retreat for those guests looking to visit the Central Florida attractions for the day and enjoy the remainder of their vacation by the beach. With over 13 miles of white sand beach, it’s no wonder why New Smyrna Beach is consistently voted Orlando’s Best Beach.

New Smyrna Beach has quietly grown to its current population of approximately 23,000. The city proper measures approximately 19.5 square miles including its 13.2 miles of beachfront. Turtle Mound and the southern end of A1A blend right into the additional 22 miles of the Canaveral National Seashore Park. Tight control of beach traffic and protection of nesting sea turtles helps maintain the natural beauty that is New Smyrna.
